200 word story

I grew up in a very poor environment. Everyday was just a normal day, until a new restaurant moved in -  this would change everything. They sold beastly burgers.

Every Morning I would visit. I glared at the window as I saw there was the biggest burger my eyes have seen. I looked at the price $50.00 I freaked out I knew I couldn’t afford it. I ran home knowing that I had to get that special burger. The next day I broke my piggy bank but I only had thirty dollars. I waited for dark before I made my move.

As I creeped up to the store suddenly I stopped my mind had second thoughts my mind was playing up. I started to think about what I was about to do suddenly my back hit the floor my eyes closed shut I blacked out.  I woke up still lying on the floor.

It was still night, so I rushed up onto the roof of the restaurant and to my surprise I saw a door I dived through the door. The burger was in sight I snatched the beastly burger, Busted down the door and ran like a madman.

• What is Diabetes?

      Diabetes is a very common disease that you can get from being overweight or it can be        caused by lack of insulin. This kind of disease can cause a lot of problems.

• What are the main similarities between Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes?

The main similarities between type 1 and type 2 diabetes are that there insulin is sluggish. And  which is pasta bread and many other foods.  

• What are the main differences between Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes?

The main differences between the two different  diseases is that  type 2 is a progressive  disease and it is worser than type 1. And type 1 can be with a few insulin shots.

• How do diabetics manage their illness?

They take insulin shots to help their insulin get back on track. Eat more carbs to get the pancreas starting.

• What are the risk factors for developing Type 2 Diabetes?

          

Becoming overweight or being resistant to insulin. This means that the insulin and the pancreas are not best friends anymore.

• What are the main health risks for people who develop Type 2 Diabetes?

One of the  main health risks is losing weight very quickly. The other is that you could require insulin shots.  

• Summarise, conclude your findings on diabetes.

I have found out that diabetes is a very very common disease that many people have, This could lead to death and the pancreas could be destroyed and your insulin will be lacking.

MAKING ICE-CREAM

Equipment

1/2 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1 tablespoon sugar

4 cups crushed ice

4 tablespoons salt

1 small size Zip-loc bag

1 Large Zip-loc freezer bag

A hand towel or gloves to keep fingers from freezing as well!

Methodology

1.First Mix the milk, than the vanilla then sugar in the small sized bag.

2. Seal the bag tightly and that allow hardly any air to stay in.

3.Too much air left will make holes and drip while shaking.

4.Get your bigger bag and grab ice and put in then sprinkle salt over the ice.

Than shake with towel or gloves  

Outcome

Well the outcome of it was good but mine was quite runny but it was still YUMMY!.

The Heart Attack Grill Restraunt

I think that The Heart Attack Grill should not be allowed to operate in gi

Because the fries are deep fried into lard which is also known as animal fat. The burgers are stacked with a huge amount of fat and grease and its 4 patties high. There food is ridiculously unhealthy and No one would needs a burger as big as 8 patties and covered with cheese.

I would rather prefer eating a balanced diet only eating it once in awhile. Also John Basso the owner uses his customers for promotion.

However, The owner has the rights to move in like any other businessman. What is stopping him from moving in but the positive side is that there will be more jobs available in gi. He really thinks he is teaching people lessons by making them fat and then die but really he is just attracting more and more customers.

The reason that it is not good is because obesity will go over the charts even maybe the whole of gi would be either dead or obese it contains 8,000 calories per burger WOW right you only need two thousand one day.

They had a spokesperson who always ordered unlimited fries and businessman. What is stopping him from moving in but the positive side is that there will be more jobs available in gi. Bread

Today, we made a tray of very delicious bread. We also had miss kings mum come to teach us how to make the bread. Mixing and pouring, we put together all the ingredients into a big bowl

. After we put together all the things in and mixed it all up it turned into dough we put it on the table. We then kneaded the dough and made it into all shapes and sizes.

On the tray and ready to go into the oven. We waited for at least ten minutes. Waiting patiently, out came the bread. It looked really YUM. I wanted to eat it ASAP as it came out. Quickly power walking to class, I jumped like a wild animal because I really wanted to munch it like a boss.  

Grabbing my bread roll, I cut it in half and I spread the butter all inside. Then I popped it in my mouth and it tasted sweet and delicious. lets hope we can make some more someday. I would just like to say thanks to mother king, for getting the ingredients and giving up her time to show us how to make bread. If you would like to make some bread of your own here is the recipe.

Will.i.am Coming to our school

Will.i.am songs are inspiring, it has many encouraging lyrics. His new Song had came out and we took a look at it. It had words that I didn't understand but miss king told us what they meant. Now we know what they mean and we are going to share our information with you.

The lyrics are about him growing up in a very tough and poor community,  he then grew up to be a very rich and wealthy man. To me these lyrics drive me along and helps me to believe my dreams and never give up on them.

The reason we are writing about this is because will.i.am himself came to our school and donated 100,000 dollars ,yes you read right one hundred thousand dollars towards the manaiakalani trust. Will.i.am is a very geneorus and kind hearted man.
